A little bit about Frilly Flowers Gardening and who I am:

Hello and welcome to

Frilly flowers Gardening. 🌸 

I'm Alexandra, 

Mother of two, Amateur Photographer and Qualified in Level 3 and Level 4 Horticulture. 

Gardening has been an interest of mine since I was 12 years old and currently am still an active home gardener based in the Hawkes Bay region of New Zealand. 

I love NZ natives, roses and elements of a cottage garden. 

You will find me incorporating all of these into my own home garden as well as trying my luck at growing vegetables. 

While I have Level 3 and Level 4 horticulture qualifications I am always still learning along the way in the world of gardening and started a blog along side my website to share afew of my insights from my gardening journey.  

I studied photography in high school and have gotten back into Photography over the last five years with it being my main focus over the last two years- I have captured some stunning photos of birds, insects and flowers and can't wait to share them with you all. 

Frilly Flowers Gardening been in the making for several years ever since I studied Bussiness in 2020, completing a Business Diploma in 2021 I have wanted to start my own business and have finally taken the plunge in 2026 to do just that, launching Frilly Flowers Gardening. 🌸
