Creating a Feature Garden

Every garden needs a feature or vocal point that stands out and captures attention. I'm currently creating a rose feature garden that will have a carpet of calla lillies come summer. 

Here's a little photo gallery of a past feature garden I have created. I love using Calla lilies for summer flowering displays as they flower consistingly and last quite a few weeks. Calla Lillie's being a bulb flowering plant, if left in the ground create a thick display over a few years. 

Here's a before of the garden I'm transforming... alot of rocks to remove, compost and mulch to be worked in and eight feature roses to plant include an Ali mau, Thunder struck and Hi Ho Sliver. 

Then comes planting the Calla Lillies...
